Eileen M. Stone

Born in Fall River, daughter of the late John and Mary (Hayes) O’Neill. She was a 1940 graduate of Durfee High School and was employed as a secretary in the office of Dr. William Kenney for many years at Truesdale Clinic. A longtime active communicant of Sacred Heart Church, she was a member of the Women’s Guild, Linden Club and the Sacred Heart Seniors.

Surviving one daughter; Jayne L. Norman and her husband David of Fall River, one son; Thomas J. Stone and his wife Valerie of Warren, RI., seven grandchildren; Christopher and Michael Norman, Timothy Stone, Elizabeth Santana, Patrick, Nicholas and Kathryn Stone, one brother; John T. O’Neill of Fall River and several great grandchildren. Mother of the late Kathleen M., Peter A., and Kathleen M. Stone and sister of the late Catherine O’Neill.

Her Funeral will be Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 8:30AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter Street, Fall River followed by a funeral mass at 10AM in Sacred Heart Church, Linden Street, Fall River. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Flal River. Visitation will be prior to her mass from 8:30-9:30AM.
