Claire Imbriglio

Claire (Correira) Imbriglio, age 86, formerly of Fall River, passed away Friday, January 08, 2016 in Parkland Medical Center in Derry, New Hampshire. She was the wife of the late Anthony “Tony” Imbriglio.

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Manuel F. and Catherine (Storey) Correira, she had been a lifelong resident of Fall River until moving to Derry, New Hampshire recently.

A graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, class of 1947, she was a communicant of Holy Name Church and a member of the Friends of St. Anne’s. She was also a member of the Holy Rosary Woman’s Guild. In addition to being a homemaker, she volunteered at St. Anne’s Hospital for many years.

She is survived by three daughters: Joann Imbriglio of Fall River, Paula Potvin and her husband George of Windham, NH, Susan Fauvel-Rutledge and her husband Robert of Pelham, NH and one granddaughter: Ashley Tucarella and her husband Nick. She was mother-in-law of the late Bob Fauvel and friend of the late Ernest Bunker.

Her Funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 9:00AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 2:00 to 5:00PM. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
