Charles J. Medeiros, age 60, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Alyson (Manchester) Medeiros, to whom he had been married for 36 years.
Born in Fall River, the son of Delores (Souza) Medeiros of Fall River and the late Charles C. Medeiros, he was a lifelong resident of the city and a 1976 graduate of Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School, where he had been employed for the past 21 years in the Maintenance Department.
Chuck was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and a member of the Knights of Columbus in Tiverton.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife and mother is his son Adam C. Medeiros and his wife Amy of Marlborough, MA; a sister Deborah Kenney and her husband William of Fall River; a brother Mark Medeiros and his wife Maria Grace of Bristol, RI and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his Diman family.
Following cremation, his visitation will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 9am to 1pm in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Burial will be private.
