Antone B. Mazzarella Jr., age 69, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022 in Saint Anne’s Hospital. He was the loving husband to Donna (Freeborn) Mazzarella, they cherished each other in marriage for 50 years.
Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Antone and Louise (Facchiano) Mazzarella Sr. He remained a lifelong resident of the City. A graduate of B.M.C Durfee High School, he went onto a career as a Licensed Pipefitter with Local 51 until he retired. A member of Grace Christian Fellowship, he devoted much of his time to reading the bible and practicing his faith and beliefs.
Antone was often found building or welding anything that needed to be put together. He enjoyed gardening, taking his faithful dog and “baby” Mazzie out for rides, and cooking his famous Italian feasts for family. Antone was always there for anyone who needed a hand and will be deeply missed by his family.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his son, Antone B. Mazzarella III, of Fall River; brother-in-law Sam Freeborn and wife his wife Joan, sister-in-law Theresa Fitzpatrick and her husband Kevin, and many nieces and nephews.
