Victor H. Chapa

Victor H. Chapa entered in the gates of Heaven on September 10, 2014 at the age of 80 in Corpus Chrisit, Texas. He was born on January 22, 1934 to Lazaro Chapa and Nicolasa Gonzalez Chapa in Benavides, Texas. He was the owner of Chapa's Bail Bonds. Victor is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Alan Chapa; brothers, Hector (+Celia) Chapa, Manuel "Mel" (+Gloria-+Berta) Chapa, Leonel "Leo" Chapa and Lazaro "Butch" (+Minvera "Minnie") Chapa and sister, Olga Caballero. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Gilda G. Chapa of Hebbronville, Texas; son, Hugo R. Chapa of Hebbronville, daughter, Erica (Jeremy) Chance of Pearland, Texas; sisters, Elva (+Celso "Chito") Gonzales, Maria Elena "Mary" (+Arnoldo "Nono") Alaniz, Arcadia "Kala" (Cleofas) Gonzalez, Sr. and Juanita "Juanie" (Teodoro "Lolo") Soza all of Benavides; sister-in-law, Sylvia Chapa of Houston; brother-in-law Vito Caballero and grandsons, Jacob W. Chance and Austin W. Chance.

Holy rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville.

Burial will follow at the Calaveras Family Cemetery in Ben Bolt, Texas.
