Tammy Elaine Martinez entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 6, 2023 at her residence in Premont, Texas at the age of 56. She was born on June 7, 1966 to Harvey Kenneth Burrow and Martha Frances Cunningham Burrow in Falfurrias, Texas. Tammy worked as a Bookkeeper at Premont Automotive Service, Inc. for several years. She was an avid volunteer and served as the Club Manager for the Premont Cactus 4-H Club over 20 years and the Premont Little League for over 10 years as their Player Agent.
Tammy enjoyed spending time and making memories with her children, grandchild, nieces and nephews. She was someone who always encouraged them to be open to trying new things and gave them the courage to follow their dreams.
She is preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Israel Martinez, Sr.; sister-in-law, Yolanda Hinojosa and brother-in-law, Israel Martinez, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Carlos Martinez; son, Trevor Martinez; daughter, Meghan Martinez and granddaughter, June Belle Martinez all of Premont. Also surviving Tammy are her siblings, Kenny Earl (Darcy) Burrow of Elkhart, Texas; Carolyn Gilbert of Premont; Debra Burrow of Plano, Texas; mother-in-law, Celestina Martinez; brother-in-law, Raul Hinojosa; sisters-in-law, Lucy (Johnny) Morante and Rosalinda (Joe) Lopez all of Premont and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the Baptist Church in Premont, Texas.
