Our beautiful sister, Sara Alicia "Cookie" Guerra, entered into rest on Thursday, March 27, 2025 surrounded by her family and friends at Meridian Care. She was born on April 23, 1966 to Taurino Guerra Jr. and Hermelinda Alaniz Guerra.
Cookie was reunited in Heaven by her parents; siblings, Lauro and Laura Guerra and step mom, Candelaria P. Guerra.
She leaves behind many precious memories that will forever by treasured by her sister, Melba Guerra; brother, Juan Gerardo "Jerry" Guerra both of Hebbronville, Texas; nephews and niece, Fernando " Freddy" Canales, Jessica Canales and Christian Michael Canales; great niece and nephews, Ella Canales, and Joe Anthony Canales; many extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Omar Carreon, Carlos Guerra, Ernesto Perez, Juan Espinosa, Olivero Ramos, Arnulfo Guerra Jr., Rick Canales and Renato Perez.
Honorary pallbearer will be Octavio Ramos.
