Rolando Perez Sr.

Rolando Perez, Sr., 54, was called home by the Lord on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at a hospital in Laredo, Texas. He was born on August 10, 1958 to Rosendo Perez, Sr. and Maria Alicia Garcia Perez in Ashiya, Japan. Rolando worked as a truck driver for many oilfield companies until he became disabled. Rolando was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by his parents, Rosendo and Maria Perez, Sr. and his son, Jesus “Jesse Joe” Perez. Rolando leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife, Sara Mendoza Perez of Laredo, TX; son, Rolando Perez, Jr. of Portland, Texas; daughter, Stela Alicia Perez of Victoria, TX; three brothers, Rosendo Perez, Jr. and Roberto Perez both of Corpus Christi, TX and Ricardo (Miriam) Perez of Bruni, TX; four sisters, Rose (Valdemar) Vasquez of Victoria, TX, Robin (Greg) Hillcamp and Regina (Oscar) Garza both of Corpus Christi, TX and Maria Garza of Falfurrias, TX; three grandchildren, Ian Andres Perez, Noah Angel Perez and Joshua Jesus Moreno and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bruni. Burial will follow at the Perez-El Brazil Family Cemetery in Bruni.
