Peggy Joyce DeSpain

Peggy Joyce DeSpain, 83 passed away Saturday, January 22. 2011 in Brownsville. She was born on July 1, 1927 in Denton, TX to Jim Wallace and Alma Turner Wallace. She was a clerk before her retirement.

She is preceded death by her parents Jim and Alma; husband Chester C. DeSpain Sr.; son Chester DeSpain Jr.; grandchildren Samantha DeSpain, Chester C. DeSpain III and Jonathan Brown; sister Patricia Kantowski.

Peggy is survived by her two daughters Connie (Tom) Crick of Helotes, TX, and Linda (James) Brown of Brownsville; Ila DeSpain; grandson Thomas (Kasey) Crick Jr.; granddaughters Lynnette (Bob) Garrett; Jynnette Shuldham and Nannette Robertson; great grandchildren Natalie Robertson, Natassia Robertson, Madison Crick and Reagan Crick, numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 from 5pm till 9pm at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams, in Hebbronville; Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11am Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams, in Hebbronville with burial following at the Greenhill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Crick Jr., Tom DeSpain, John Long, Sam DeSpain, Larry Lowe, Burch Muldrow; Honorary Pallbearers David and Dan DeSpain
