Olga Carreon entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 28, 2025 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the beautiful age of 94. She was born on October 15, 1930, in Hebbronville, Texas, to Manuel Carreon and Guadalupe Rodriguez Carreon.
Olga was the owner of Cash & Carry Grocery for 23 years, worked at Jim Hogg County Commodity Distribution Center and the First National Bank of Hebbronville. She was also a member of the C.A.C.S.T. Board of Directors, a devoted Catholic, and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Cursillistas, Eucharistic Minister, and Ballet Folklorico Group.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents; siblings, Oscar A. Carreon, Carmen C. Benavides, Pilar C. Canales, Olinda C. Garza, Julia C. Gonzalez, Lucila Herrera, and nephew, Oscar A. Carreon Jr.
Olga is survived by her sister, Estela C. Hinojosa and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Omar A. Carreon, Giselle M. Carreon, Ricardo Garza, Roberto A. Garza, Jose M. Hinojosa, Ricky Garza, Thomas Gutierrez & Aaron O. Pena. Honorary Pallbearers will be Oscar Carreon, Brian Gutierrez, Joey Hinojosa, Stevie Hinojosa & Joseph Montemayor.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with a Rosary to be prayed at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 noon at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville. Services will conclude with Burial at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
