Norma Garza

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Roberto and Agueda Garcia.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ricardo Garza; son, Ricardo (Jana) Garza II of Spring, Texas; daughter, Camie (Fabien) Galindo of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Robert Garcia Jr. of Premont, Texas; sisters, Janie Carrales of Victoria, Texas, Diana Alvarado of Houston, Texas, Belia Mayes of Lewisville, Texas, Nelia Garcia of San Antonio, Texas and Aida Gosalvez of Edinburg, Texas; five grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Norma spent the last 15 years serving the community at Strickland’s Restaurant. She cherished her time spent with her family and friends but especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her generosity and selflessness in helping others in need. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with and loved.

Rosary will be prayed at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, August 13, 2021 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Services will conclude with a Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Premont.
