Maricruz Sonia Perez

Maricruz Sonia Perez entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 3, 2024 at a hospital in Alice, Texas at the age of 55. She was born on July 30, 1968 to Tomas Rene Johnson and Estela Guadalupe Gonzalez Johnson in Falfurrias, Texas.

Throughout her high school years, Maricruz was a talented twirler and won several competitions. She later continued her education at several colleges in Texas. She worked at several places as a waitress for many years. She had a love for helping others and would do so as often as she could.

Maricruz was reunited in Heaven with her paternal and maternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her parents Tomas and Estela Johnson of Falfurrias; two sons, Milo Garza, Jr. of Falfurrias and Tomas Mateo (Jenny) Johnson of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter, Jessika Perez Garcia of Falfurrias; eight grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.

Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2024 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 5:30 p.m.
