Maria Q. Robledo

Maria Q. Robledo, 89, entered into eternal peace on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at her residence in Premont, Texas surround by her loving family. She was born on October 1, 1926 to Jesus Quintanilla and Torivia Ortiz Quintanilla in Falfurrias, Texas. Maria was a housewife with a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others. She loved to garden and recently her family would frequently find her sneaking into the kitchen to cook meals. Maria is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Baldemar Robledo, Sr.; her son, Juan Robledo; grandson, Baldemar Robledo, III; sister, Concepcion Salinas and brother, Jesus Quintanilla. She leaves her memories to be cherished by her three sons, Elias (Mary) Robledo of Premont, Baldemar (Bridgett) Robledo, Jr. of Houston, Texas and Ismael (Sylvia) Robledo of Premont; three daughters, Cynthia (Ramiro) Gaitan of Premont, Leticia Robledo of Houston and Sally (Joe) Tovar of Premont; two sisters, Celia Mendoza of Delano, California and Endelia Duberney of Corpus Christi, Texas; 21 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
