Lilia L. Gutierrez

Lilia L. Gutierrez 88 passed away Friday May 4, 2012 at a Laredo Nursing Home. She was born February 19, 1924 at the Frijolio Ranch Duval County to Cleofas and Maria Guadalupe Lopez. Lilia was a custodian with the Jim Hogg School District before her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Salvador Gutierrez two daughters Mary Lou Canales and Gloria Torres. Lilia is survived by a son Salvador J. Gutierrez of Hebbronville, TX a daughter Emily G. (Rolando) Saravia of Houston, TX and a foster daughter Leonor Tilson of Sinton, TX. Three sisters Leonor L. Ramirez of Hebbronville, TX Estela L. Jurecki of Bandera, TX and Olivia L. Soliz of Hebbronville, TX. Eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Monday May 7, 2012 with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard William Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10: 00 a.m. Tuesday May 8, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
