Juan “Johnny” N. Carrasco entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at a hospital in Kingsville, Texas at the age of 63. He was born on September 28, 1955 to Genoveva Ramirez Rosas in Falfurrias, Texas. Johnny was a proud 1974 Premont High School graduate. He enjoyed attending the Casa Real Adult Day Care where he has many friends. He was a simple man who will always be remembered for having a very carefree, happy spirit and outlook on life.
He is preceded in death by his niece, Saralisa Rosas.
He leaves behind to remember all the wonderful memories his mother, Genoveva Rosas of Premont, Texas; brothers, Eloy Rosas of Houston, Texas and Rolando Rosas of Dallas, Texas; sister, Roxanna Rosas of Premont; niece, Leticia S. Lara of Premont and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Rey Canales, Joe Lara, Oscar Gonzalez, Lynn Ramirez, Joe Benavides and Colbert Cox. Honorary Pallbearers will be Roman Ramon, Leticia M. Gonzalez, Delfina Castillo and Michele Anzualda.
Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 8, 2019 at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Premont. Burial will follow at the Premont Cemetery.
