Jose Rolando “Role” Perez went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at the age of 69. He was born on January 28, 1951 to Matilde Perez and Glafira P. Perez in Falfurrias, Texas. Rolando married the love of his life, Gloria Regalado Perez in January of 1976 and they resided in Encino, Texas. He was a farmer and rancher who loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He was also an avid Cowboys and Astros fan.
As Rolando entered the gates of Heaven, he was reunited with his father.
He leaves behind his wife of over 44 years, Gloria R. Perez of Encino; mother, Glafira P. Perez of Encino; brothers, Jose Romeo Perez of Encino and Juan (Griselda) Perez of Edinburg, Texas; sisters, Naida Perez of Rio Grande City, Texas, Nora Perez of Kingsville, Texas and Marilee Perez (Ricardo) Garza of Mission, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews; in-laws, and friends.
Rosary will be prayed at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Encino with a Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. Services will conclude with a Burial at the Perez Family Ranch Cemetery in Encino, Texas on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.
