Jose Gilberto "Pee Wee" Villarreal

Jose Gilberto “Pee Wee” Villarreal entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the Premont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 63. He was born on August 19, 1951 to Ernesto Villarreal Jr. and Elva Pena Villarreal. Pee Wee was a delightful person in and out. He was a very special person in our community and was a great Tejano music fan. Above all, he was an avid Jersey fan, through and through. He will be remembered with love as he touched many, many hearts. May God place his loving arms around him and welcome him into the peace of his Heavenly Home.

As Pee Wee entered in the gates of Heaven, he was reunited with his father, Ernesto Villarreal Jr., his nephew, Gabriel Rodriguez Jr. and his paternal and maternal grandparents. Pee Wee is survived by his mother Elva P. Villarreal, a brother Ernesto Villarreal III (Susie Villarreal) both of Falfurrias, TX, a sister Viola V. Rodriguez of Lake Jackson, TX. Also surviving are his nephew Ernesto Villarreal IV, and nieces Olga Villarreal, Jaimie Ochoa and Danyel Robles (Jason Robles), two great nephews Aaron Lamar Villarreal and Joseph Michael Garza.

Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday May 19, 2015 with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
