Jesus Garcia, Jr. passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018 at his residence in Falfurrias, Texas at the age of 62. He was born on November 6, 1955 to Jesus Garcia, Sr. and Margarita Sandoval Garcia in Brooks County, Texas. Jesus worked for many years with the Road and Bridge Department for Brooks County until his retirement. He was a noble man who loved watching sports like football and baseball. He also had a love for food, barbeque being his favorite.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sister, Mary L. (Rogelio “Rocky” Jr.) Flores of Falfurrias; brother, Michael Garcia of Fort Worth, Texas; niece, Odette Gutierrez of Edinburg, Texas; two great-nephews, Nicholas Gutierrez and Nathan Gutierrez and great-niece, Nataly Gutierrez.
Rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Services will conclude with a burial at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias.
