Imelda Moreno Perez, 63, from Kingsville, Texas passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on October 30, 1959 to Baldemar and Emma Elvia Moreno in Falfurrias, Texas. She was an employee for Kleberg Bank for 25 years. She was a member of the Woman of Faith at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kingsville and was a volunteer for Relay for Life for many years.
Imelda enjoyed her vacations with her husband, Alejos, where they traveled to many different states. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially going to the movies, seeing plays and eating out with her grandchildren, Miranda, A.J., and Alyssa, whom she loved with all her heart. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Xavier Rene Perez; brother, Baldemar Moreno, Jr. and her sister, Soila M. Cantu.
Among those left to cherish her memory is her husband, Alejos Perez, Jr.; daughter, Elvia Adelina (Joe) Martinez; three grandchildren, Miranda Jo Martinez, Adrian Javier Martinez and Alyssa Marie Martinez all of Kingsville; sisters, Diana (Luis) Arevalo of Falfurrias and Sylvia (Dario) Garcia of Kingsville; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 26, 2022 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias and Burial will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
