Hector Longoria Perez Sr.

Hector Longoria Perez Sr 70, passed away Wednesday July 29, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Perez was born June 13, 1945 to Donaciano and Teodora Perez in the town of Falfurrias, TX.. He worked at the Celanese Plant of many years, after that he went to work for Brooks County Independent School District where he was a custodian and a bus driver for over twenty years. Hector also played in a musical group, he loved to play the accordion, guitar, keyboard and really any instrument he could get his hands on. He would sit for hours writing lyrics and doodling them down then playing. Mr Perez was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Francisca Nino, Ofelia Benavidez and Maria Sanchez. He is survived by his children Hector Perez Jr, Lucia B. (Joe) Galindo, grandchildren Nathaniel Alfredo Perez, Sarah Rattunde, Albert (Veronica) Salinas Jr., John I. (Annastacia) Starr and Joe Galindo Jr., great grandson Alberto Diego Salinas. Also surviving are his brothers Donaciano (Maricruz) Perez, Esteban (Odelia) Perez, Rolando Perez and Erasmo Perez, sisters Estela Salinas and Teresa Buenrostro. Those serving as pallbearers will be Albert Salinas Jr, John I Starr, Joe Galindo, Paul Hernandez, Freddy Hernandez, Albert Hernandez, Nathaniel Perez, Diego Salinas and Joe Galindo Jr. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Monday August 3, 2015 with a Rosary being recited at 7:30 p.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams. Funeral Services will be held 9:00 a.m. Tuesday August 4, 2015 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
