Esmeralda Vasquez earned her angel wings on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at a nursing home in Hebbronville, Texas at the age of 69. She was born on May 5, 1949 to Rosendo Vasquez and Dolores Perez Vasquez in Houston, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Esmeralda is survived by her special cousin, Mary Mendiola of Hebbronville; numerous cousins and many friends.

Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a Rosary to be prayed at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville. Funeral will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. James Episcopal Church in Hebbronville with services concluding at the New Hebbronville Cemetery for Burial.
