Enedina B. Martinez

Enedina B. Martinez entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at her residence in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 87. She was born on August 6, 1933 to Manuel Benavides and Josefa Guerra Benavides in Falfurrias, Texas. Enedina was a housewife. She loved spending her free time quilting, dancing, listening to music and playing “Chalupa” Mexican bingo with her family and friends. She was also a collector of many pig figurines.

Enedina was reunited in Heaven with her parents; her husband, Antonio C. Martinez; son, Antonio “Tony” B. Martinez, Jr.; siblings, Angelina Castillo, Esteban Benavides, Eulogio “Gene” Benavides and Manuel O. Benavides and brothers-in-law, Juan Castillo and Jorge Rodriguez.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her seven children, Aristeo “Eddie” B. (Dahlia) Martinez, Bertha “B” M. Robles, Norma B. Martinez, Ludivina “Lulu” M. (Michael) Larson, Palmira “Pam” M. (Pete) Salas, Magdalena “Maggie” M. (Samuel) Limon and Rosalinda Martinez all of Corpus Christi; siblings, Lorenza B. Flores, Arturo G. (Josie M.) Benavidez and Guadalupe B. Rodriguez all of San Antonio, Texas; sisters-in-law, Lydia Benavides of Pleasanton, Texas, Josefina Benavides of Corpus Christi and Minerva Benavides of Dallas, Texas and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2020 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 8:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Benavides Ranch Family Cemetery in La Copita, Texas.
