Eloisa L. Martinez, 70, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at her home in Austin, Texas where she was surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on November 14, 1947 to Juan Lozano, Sr. and Rafaela Ramirez Lozano in Falfurrias, Texas. Eloisa worked for over 15 years as a JC Penny associate until her retirement. She will always be remembered as “Mom” as everyone would call her because she always made sure to take care of everyone’s needs. She was an amazing person inside and out. She loved to cook and entertain in her home. Eloisa loved to listen to all sorts of music and had a love for cherub angels. She appreciated every minute she got to spend with family and friends and she especially loved baking with her granddaughters.
Eloisa fought a long, hard battle against cancer and was finally reunited in Heaven with her parents; husband, Octavio Martinez; brother, Cesar Longoria and sister, Elva Martinez.
She leaves behind to cherish all the wonderful memories her three daughters, Ana Lisa Martinez, Marcela (Tycin) Thompson and April Angel Denise (Patrice) Martinez- Simpson all of Austin; two brothers, Juan “Johnny” (Yolanda) Lozano, Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas and Joe Lozano of San Diego, Texas; two sisters, Elisa (Claude) Perkins and Tomacita (Crespin) Trevino both of Orange Grove, Texas; five grandchildren, Tycin T. Thompson, Jr., TiAna Ja?a Thompson, Amya Rhys Williams, Demetreeus Perdue and Derek Thompson; aunt, Ildefonza Bubenik from Falfurrias and many nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
