Eloisa Pena Garcia

Eloisa “Wita” Pena Garcia, 97 passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Mrs. Garcia was born on December 14, 1914 to Dionicio Pena and Francisca Garcia Pena in Kingsville, Texas. She was a housewife. Eloisa or “Wita” as her grandchildren called her was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother; who loved to crochet in her spare time, and she was also a great cook. Mrs. Garcia is preceded in death by her parents, husband Abel M. Garcia, and sister Juanita Rodriguez.

She is survived by her children, three sons Arnoldo P. (Irma) Garcia of Premont, TX, Lorenzo P. (Carmen) Garcia of Baytown, TX, and Enrique Alvaro Garza of Premont,

TX, three daughters Maria Minerva Garcia of Alamo, TX, Imelda (Arturo) Hernandez of Falfurrias, TX and Viola (Robert) McIntyre of Dallas, TX.

14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, 2 nephews and 3 nieces.

Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2012 with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Falfurrias, TX.

Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias, TX, with entombment following at the Premont Cemetery.
