Elena S. Saenz

Our beloved mother, Elena S. Saenz, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 18, 2025 at her residence at the beautiful age of 90. She was born on May 8, 1934 in Duval County to Antonio Saenz and Lucia Guerra Saenz.

Elena is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Amadeo Saenz; siblings, Olga Salinas, Roberto Saenz, Norma S. Chapa, Margarita Villarreal, Elida Guerra, Lucia Morales and Barbarita S. Salinas.

Elena leaves behind many precious memories that will forever be cherished by her sons, Amadeo (Geraldine) Saenz Jr. of Austin and Nemorio (Graciela) Saenz of Kingsville; daughters, Martha Villarreal of San Antonio and Gloria Saenz of Hebbronville; siblings, Daniel (Lydia) Saenz, Antonio (Diana) Saenz Jr. and Maria Consuelo Gonzalez all Corpus Christi; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Robert Villarreal, David Saenz, Danny Hinojosa, Chris Indelicato, Eric Saenz and Tomas Salinas.

Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville with a Holy Rosary to be prayed at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will be private.
