Dora A. Garcia earned her angel wings on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 58. She was born in Laredo, Texas on November 23, 1961 to Jose E. Martinez and Alberta Medina Martinez. Dora was employed with the Jim Hogg County ISD of Hebbronville, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Joe David Garcia.
Dora leaves behind many precious memories that will be cherished by her daughters, Erika Jauregue of San Antonio and Mandy (Randy) Rodriguez of Hebbronville; brother, Pete (Maureen) Martinez of Alice, Texas; sisters, Nora (Troy) McRae of Hebbronville, Sylvia (Robert) Lantzer of Mansfield, Texas and Maria De Rosario (Jesus) Cabrales of Hebbronville; father of her children, Mario V. Garcia of San Antonio; best friend, Olga Chavarria of San Antonio and seven grandchildren.
Honoring her as pallbearers will be Derik Jauregue, Aaron Jauregue, Randy Rodriguez, Marcus Montelongo, Troy McRae and Eddie Rios.
Holy rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2020 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
