Daniel T. Garza

Daniel T. Garza, 87, passed away Tuesday December 14, 2010 at a hospital in Kingsville, TX. Mr. Garza was born on September 3, 1923 to Nicolas Garza, Sr. and Reyes Telles Garza in Falfurrias, TX. Mr. Daniel T. Garza served our Country in the Army 82nd Airborne in WWII. He was a Sheriff Deputy and Constable for many years before his retirement.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Leonor L. Garza, and daughter Angelica Garza.

He is survived by his four sons, Daniel Garza, Jr., Homero (Dora) Garza, Carlos Garza and Gerardo (Annabel) Garza all of Falfurrias, TX, three daughters Maria Delores Garza of Austin, TX, Diana (Narciso) Alamilla of Abilene, TX and Evangelina (Victor) Vargas of Falfurrias, TX, brother Leonel (Josefina) Garza, 27 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday December 16, 2010 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Falfurrias, TX. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Friday December 17, 2010 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias, TX with burial following at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
