Daniel Davila Sr.

Daniel Davila, Sr., 86, of Premont, Texas was received by our Holy Father on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at a hospital in Kingsville, Texas. He was born on December 8, 1926 to Guillermo Davila, Sr. and Elvira Garcia Davila in Premont, Texas. Daniel worked for over 40 years as a Laborer with many different companies throughout his lifetime.

Daniel was welcomed into Heaven by his parents and his two brothers, David Davila and Guillermo Davila, Jr.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Margarita Morante Davila of Premont; his three children, Rosie (Fred) Flores of Premont; Daniel (Josie) Davila, Jr. and Tracey (Daniel) Sanchez both of Corpus Christi, Texas; one brother, Alfonso (Juanita) Davila of Premont; three sisters, Elida Gonzalez, Trinidad Davila and Sylvestra Castellano all of Premont; seven grandchildren, Marco Flores, Ayssa Flores, Christina Davila, Noemi Salinas, Daniel Davila, III, Lorena Sanchez and Estevan Sanchez; two great-grandchildren, Jeslyn and Alexis Salinas and many extended relatives.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Burial will follow at the Premont Cemetery.
