Bryan Rey Garza, age 24, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at his residence in Falfurrias, Texas. He was born in Corpus Christi on February 17, 1994 to Eduardo “Eddy” Garza, Sr. and Melinda Rodriguez Garza as the youngest of three children. Bryan was a 2012 graduate of Falfurrias High School.
Bryan was a dynamic, self-expressive person who was forever looking to celebrate the endless possibilities life had to offer. When he walked into a room, those in his company felt his energy and an enthusiastic spontaneity. Always at the ready with a good joke, he grew up to be quite a humorous and entertaining person. It seems as though he never met a stranger and was always willing to have a good time. He loved to spend time with family and friends especially while fishing and hunting. He always had a smile on his face and was a remarkable person who seemed to have made a big impression on most people he met.
Along with his wit, outgoing personality, and understanding of others, Bryan had a knack for being clever, creative and witty, and for others, was a joy to be around. He was known to be the life of the party who always seemed to make everyone around him laugh and enjoy themselves. These are just a few examples of who Bryan was and how he impacted those around him. He will always be remembered as being rambunctious and spontaneous with a lively and free spirited personality.
Bryan was welcomed into Heaven by his paternal and maternal grandfathers, Eliborio L. Garza and Amando Rodriguez. He leaves behind to treasure his memories his parents, Eddy and Melinda Garza of Falfurrias; his sister, Cassandra (Ruben Ramirez) Garza of Premont, Texas; brother, Eduardo “Eddie” Garza, Jr. of Falfurrias; two nephews, Codie R. Garza of Falfurrias and Isaiah Ramirez of Premont; his paternal and maternal grandmothers, Gloria S. Garza of Falfurrias and Odilia A. Rodriguez of Encino, Texas and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Bryan’s family will be celebrating his life with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation to begin at 5:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Garza Family Ranch in Falfurrias.
