Anita Molina entered peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at her residence in Hebbronville, Texas at the age of 89. She was born on March 6, 1931 in Hebbronville to Benito Garza and Carmen Garcia Garza.
Anita was reunited in Heaven with her parents; husband, Ramiro R. Molina; son, Juan F. Molina; brother, Benito Garza, Jr, sisters Hilda Rodriguez and Ciria Garza; brothers-in-law, Hector Garza, Manuel Rodriguez, Jr., Agapito “Cuate” Molina, Jr. and sister-in-law, Ada M. Ramos.
She leaves behind to cherish her wonderful memories her children, Ramiro Javier (Leti) Molina of Austin, Texas; Ana Laura M. (David) Benavides and Tomas R. Molina of Hebbronville; Oscar M. Molina of Houston, Texas and 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving Anita are her sister, Lydia Garza of Hebbronville; brother-in-law, Baldemar Garza of Laredo, Texas and sister-in-law, Felisa Garza of Corpus Christi, Texas.
Anita was a Teacher with Webb Consolidated School District for over 30 years until her retirement. She loved spending time with her family and cooking for them. She took great pleasure gathering with her grandkids and great-grandkids. In her leisure time, she gardened, traveled and visited with her “comadares” and friends. She was a lifetime member of the Immaculate Chapel, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and Adult Choir. She also dedicated her time as a member of the VFW Woman’s Auxiliary Club.
Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a Holy Rosary at 9:30 a.m. and Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville. Services will conclude with Burial at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
