Angelica M. Perez

Angelica M. Perez passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Simon Mendoza and Eloisa Vela in Hebbronville, Texas and made many wonderful memories during her 77 years of life. Angelica was a homemaker and caregiver for everyone. She cared deeply and showed it through the way she supported everyone around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Reynaldo Perez.

Angelica leaves behind to cherish her memories her son, Reynaldo Perez, Jr. (Trini) of Falfurrias, Texas; daughters, Corina Perez of Falfurrias, Eva Perez Yzaguirre (Dan) of Poteet, Texas, Cindy Perez Alegria (Felipe) of Falfurrias and Lorena “Polly” Trevino of Bay Area; brothers, Jose “Cisco” Francisco Ruiz of Lubbock, Texas and Ernesto Zamora of Uvalde, Texas; sisters, Maria Arausa of Lubbock, Rosalinda Sanchez of Falfurrias, Mary Reyna of Lubbock, and Rumalda “Molly” Ruiz of Lubbock; sister-in-law, Alma Perez Ortego of Houston,Texas; five grandchildren, Raul Morales, Joey Yzaguirre, Cassandra Mendez, Katrina Hinojosa, and Felipe Eli Alegria, IV and five great-grandchildren. Angelica embraced many spiritual daughters, sons and grandkids as her own.

Public Talk will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m.
