Alicia Torres Benavides entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at a hospital in Kingsville, Texas at the age of 76. She was born August 19, 1948 to Refugia G. Soto Solis. Alicia married the love of her life, Marcos Benavides in 1972, and together they raised two children.
Alicia is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marcos Benavides, and all her siblings.
She is survived by her son, Marcos Jacinto (Elizabeth) Benavides of Candler, North Carolina, daughter, Crystal Lynn (Javier) Anguiano of San Antonio, Texas; two grandchildren, Autumn Ilene Anguiano and Roberto Marcos Anguiano; special friends, Joe and Sandra Cruz and their daughter, Joelynn Cruz of Falfurrias and numerous extended family members.
Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Falfurrias and services will conclude with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30 p.m.
