Albesa Johnson

Albesa “Nana” Johnson entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 3, 2018 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 74. She was born on June 2, 1944 to Trinidad Johnson and Julia Pena Johnson in Premont, Texas. Albesa worked as a waitress for many years of her life at different restaurants in Premont. She later became the owner of Lucy’s Burgers until her retirement.

Albesa was reunited in Heaven by her parents; her siblings, Abelardo Johnson, Enemencio Johnson, Elva Johnson and Maria Marta Johnson and her sister-in-law, Amalia Johnson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her four brothers, Juan (Lydia) Johnson of Premont, Texas, Tomas (Estella) Johnson of Falfurrias, Texas, Gilberto (Gloria) Johnson of San Antonio, Texas and Donato Johnson of La Gloria, Texas; two sisters, Maria Antonia (J.M.) Lozano of Premont and Elma Johnson of Premont; special nephew who helped care for Albesa, Luis F. Johnson of Premont; special niece and “partner in crime”, Lydia Ann Johnson of Premont; numerous nieces and nephews and one great-niece, Christian Faith Johnson of Huntsville, Alabama.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m. Services will conclude with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Premont with Visitation to begin at the church at 9:00 a.m.
