To the Kalinowski Family,
 I offer my deepest sympathy to all of you.Vicki was one of my closest friends in early high school,I was totally shocked,and deeply saddened when I found out she passed.I never knew she was ill.Boy did she have a great sense of humor! One of the kindest friends I'll ever know.My prayers are with you all...

I was never lucky enough to have Mrs. Kalinowski for a teacher, but both of my younger siblings were. They told me many stories that made me wish I had been luck enough to have her. She was a fantastic teacher to every one that had the honor to sit in her classroom. I did however know her as more than a teacher. My sister is in the same class as Sara and because of the friendship that soon followed my sister coming to Messiah, I was able to meet Mrs. Kalinowski as a mom and not as my sisters teacher. She was a fantastic mom and a great women. I still feel blessed that I was able to know her, even for the few years that I did. I had the joy to know her, and I now know that she is in a better and happier place looking down on her daughters and smiling. 
You will be greatly missed Mrs. Kalinowski. We love you!

Mrs. Kalinowski was one of my all-time favorite teachers. She impacted me in ways I'll never forget. Not only was she the ultimate teacher but she was also the ultimate example and role model. She reflected Christ in all she did and for that I'm eternally grateful. It's hard to hear she's gone but we know she's in a better place. Thank you Mrs. Kalinowski for all you did for me and for the hundreds of other kids you taught. You will be missed, but I know we will meet again in Heaven where the rejoicing and praise goes on for eternity.

I am so thankful at least one of my children was able to have Vicki for a teacher!  When we were new to Messiah, Vicki sat down with my daughter Kelly and me to teach her the "Messiah way" of doing a science project!  Her patience and compassion for Kelly was evident in every word she said!  She went out of her way to make sure Kelly, as a new student, knew how to present her science project!  She modeled the love of Christ every day to her students and never was it more evident to me than when she helped Kelly!  I pray that God will continue to comfort you in the days to come!

I was so surprised to read about Vicki. I met her when she was pregnant with Macie and was a student teacher in my classroom.  Although we lost touch long ago, I remember her as a hard working, conscientious person who everyone admired.  I am sorry that her life was far too short.

Having known Mrs. Kalinowski was a blessing in itself, and having her as my sixth grade teacher even more so.  She'll be missed by everyone that had her as a guide, and anyone that even met her.  My deepest sympathies go to the family, knowing how it feels to lose a loved one out of nowhere.

I feel so blessed to have known Vicki. Her caring and compassionate smile would light up a room. I will never forget how she was always there for me, even when going through struggles of her own. She was a constant source of encouragement. But more than anything, her love for Christ was always apparent. Please know that this is what will stick with her friends and former students. Find comfort in knowing that she is now with her Maker and her Father.

I can't express in words deepest sympathy I feel for your family. All I can say is that the loss of Vicki will weigh heavy on mine and  everyone that knew her, hearts.

I am at a loss for words. I was one of Vicki's students when she taught at Parma Park Christian Life Academy. I can honestly say she was my favorite teacher I have ever had. She was so loving and caring. I am praying for her her family, especially her children. Losing a parent is the most difficult thing someone at such a young age can go through. Mrs. Kalinowski was one of my teachers from Parma Park CLA, she helped encourage me and build me up. This is very sudden and saddening news. My heart and prayers go out to her family.

Dear Kalinowski family-

We are shocked and saddened at the sudden loss of Vicki.  Please know that she touched the lives of so many students at Messiah.  Our son was in her class several years ago.  She was the most caring and compassionate teacher he had in his entire school career.  Long after he left Messiah, through high school and even into college, she always asked how he was doing.  She inspired, in particular, his love of science and weather, and was a huge influence on him in so many ways.

She'll never be forgotten in the Shell family.

Vicki's premature passing is a tremendous loss. To her husband and daughters, you have my deepest sympathies. I can not even begin to imagine what you are feeling right now. Please know this though, all 3 of my children (2 are grown and out of school)had Vicki as their teacher at one time or another and they all adored and loved her.
