Thomas A. Corrigan

Respected Funeral Director of Corrigan Funeral Homes and devoted Alumnus of the University of Notre Dame and St. Edward High School. Beloved husband of Margaret "Peg" (nee Nauman) Dear father of Thomas P. (Jeanne Ann), Brian J. (Dana), Margaret Mary Adkins (Thomas), Dennis (Gena), Michael (Sandy), Timothy (Christine), Greg, Edward (Jenise), William (Shannon) and Eileen Pickett (Brendan). Grandfather of Elisabeth (Franklin), Rebecca and Christopher Corrigan; McKenna, Connell, Quinn and Aidan Corrigan; Mary-Bridget, Christopher (Elizabeth), Michael and Matthew Adkins; Brittany and Matthew Corrigan; Kara, Adam, McKayla and Hannah Corrigan; Ian and Neil Corrigan; Patricia Grant, Liam, Ciara Corrigan; Braden, Brock and Brady Pickett. Loving son of the late Lester H. and Margaret Mary (Starinsky). Brother of Margaret Mary Radle (Robert) and Kathleen Martin (Dennis (dc)).

Through the years Tom was an active volunteer and member of the Boy Scouts of America, earning his Wood Badge in 1980. He was recognized many times at the council and district level being awarded the Silver Beaver Award in 1986, The Bronze Pelican Award in 1985 and the Whitney Young Jr. Award.

Tom was a 1953 graduate of St. Edward High School and was the First President of their Alumni Association. In 1997 he was chosen as the Alumnus of the Year. He is listed as one of St. Edward’s Distinguished Alumnus.

Having two daughters graduate from Magnificat High school, Tom served as a Past President of the Father’s Club.

Tom was a 1957 graduate of Notre Dame University. He was active in the Notre Dame Club of Cleveland serving as a Past President. In 2002 he was recognized as the Notre Dame Club of Cleveland Person of the Year.

Tom was also the past Chairman of the Maryknoll Brunch, Past Governor of District No. 85 of Serra International in 1977 and a Fourth Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus.

Tom was also an active member of St. Bernadette Church for over 50 years.

Funeral Mass will take place at 10 AM on Tuesday November 29, 2016 at St Bernadette Church, 2256 Clague Rd. Westlake, OH. The family will receive friends on Monday November 28, 2016 at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 20820 Lorain Rd, Fairview Park from 2- 8 PM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
