Dear sister of Gretchen Roda and loving mother of Laurel Southworth (Andrew Susser), Leslie Pavelich (James) and James Southworth Jr. Nancy was an exceptionally proud grandmother of William, Charlotte, and Henry Susser; James, Gretchen, John, and Robin Pavelich; and Jacob and Emily Southworth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as her friend Robert Ruggles. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and James Southworth.
Nancy was an alumna of St. Augustine Academy (1955) and St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, IN (1959). A career educator, she retired from the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities in 2002. She was a lifelong Clevelander, a loyal fan of Cleveland sports, and a long-time patron and supporter of the local arts.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, June 7th at 11:30 a.m. in St. Angela Merici Church (20970 Lorain Road) with a private interment afterwards at Riverside Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday, June 6th at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home (20820 Lorain Road) from 4–8 p.m.
