I am shocked and saddened to hear about Mike.  Although I had not seen him in awhile we were good friends while at DFAS.  We had a lot of laughs.  We had a lot of fun in the golf league.  Two former coworkers just told me downtown about this tragedy.  This is a sad day for me.  I am sorry to all of Mike's family and friends.  RIP Mike

I am very sad to learn of Mike's passing.  I worked with him for several years in DFAS Internal Review.  He always had a smile on his face and was one of the few people that I ever met that passed the CPA Exam on the 1st try.  I also liked that he was calm and level headed.  He will be missed.

Today, I mourn the loss of a very special person.  Mike had a great heart and was a wonderful friend and co-worker at DFAS.  I will cherish the fond memories we shared forever. I pray his soul is at peace.  I will miss him but embrace the joy of having known him.  My deepest condolences to the Makowski Family.

I am sad that Mike is gone, but happy that he is hopefully in a better place. I was a DFAS coworker of Mike's for several years. He will be missed. May God comfort and bless his family.

 To Mike's family, I didn't know Mike very well but we worked together on a few projects at DFAS Cleveland  5 plus years ago.  I am very sorry to hear of his passing at such a young age.  May God comfort you.

I have many fun memories from high school, when our group of friends would have picnics in the summer at Wildwood Lake Park, in Columbia Station.
