MARY J. ESCH, 72, of Fairview Park, Ohio died on January 6, 2023. Born on April 21, 1950, she was a lifelong Fairview Park resident. Mary worked at Rockport Early Childhood Center for 35 years. In her retirement, she enjoyed frequent phone calls with family, volunteering at Common Threads and Meals on Wheels, and spending time with friends at the Fairview Senior Center. She will be sorely missed by her brother, William (Pamela) Esch, and sister, Martha Esch, and nieces Katherine (Mark) Esposito, Hilary (Chris) Bean, Jennifer (A.J.) Gafford, Jessica (Luke) Howell, and Mary Sand, and her nephew Charlie Sand, and her eight grand nephews and nieces. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, William F. Esch and Mary M. Esch, and sister, Nancy E. Carr.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 13 from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 20820 Lorain Road, Fairview Park, OH 44126. A funeral will be held on Saturday, January 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, with burial thereafter at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14609 Brookpark Road, Brook Park, Ohio 44142. The family requests masks be worn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary’s name to Fairview Park Senior Center, 20769 Lorain Road, Fairview Park, OH 44126.
