Marilyn was born on January 5, 1968, to the late Michael and Helen Reynolds in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduating from Mayfield Heights High School, she studied Business and received her bachelor’s degree from Ursuline College in Cleveland. After achieving her bachelor's degree, Marilyn furthered her education, earning a master’s from Baldwin Wallace in Berea, Ohio.
In 1997, Marilyn embarked on a new chapter of her life, marrying Larry Groff. Together, they built a home filled with love and raised two remarkable children: Julia, who is pursuing her passion as a cosmetologist in Westlake, and Michael, who is on the verge of graduating high school in June. Marilyn's dedication to her family was unwavering, and her love for them was a beacon that guided her every step.
Marilyn's career at NASA Glenn Research Center was a shining example of her intelligence and dedication. Over the course of 21 years, she made significant contributions as a Schedule Analyst, leaving an indelible mark at NASA and inspiring her colleagues. In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her brother, William Reynolds. Her surviving sisters are Kathy Hibjan of Cleveland and Evelyn Reynolds, along with several nieces, nephews, and fur babies. Marilyn was a very kind human being who always had a smile on her face and a hand extended to anyone who needed her help. She enjoyed being with her family and friends every possible moment she could.
Family will receive friends Sunday, April 14, 2024, from 4-6 PM at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 20820 Lorain Road, Fairview Park, OH 44126, where funeral Services will be held Monday, April 15, 2024, at 10 AM.
