Karen Marie Kondas, 70, of Fairview Park, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2025. Karen was born in Garfield Heights, Ohio, to Edward and Evelyn (nee Zackowski) Kondas (both deceased). She was a 1972 graduate of Magnificat High School, as well as a 1976 graduate of St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana.
Before retiring, Karen worked as an inspector at the Food and Drug Administration and a medical technologist at the Cleveland Clinic. Karen had a wonderful, selfless character and spent many years caring for her mother, who suffered from dementia. She took her mother on many fun excursions that provided countless happy moments. In the 1990’s, Karen was also a big part of helping to care for her father after he suffered a debilitating stroke. Karen always gave uplifting support to others during difficult times. She was an avid Cleveland and Notre Dame sports fan.
Karen is survived by her beloved brothers, Mark and Brian Kondas (Julie), and her cherished nephews, Gregory and Christopher.

An 11:30 am funeral mass will follow next door at St. Angela Merici Parish, 20970 Lorain Road, Fairview Park, OH 44126.
