I am so sorry to hear of John's passing, we went to Marshall together but my best memories are the Friday old neighborhood coffee gathering of a dozen  of the old Marshall gang, John loved the guy's and the laughter we all shared, he will be missed

Mr. Bianchi was my absolute favorite!  He and I had a lot laughs in his office when I was sent on there to be disciplined! He was super cool! So sorry to hear of his passing. My prayers are with this family!

I graduated from Midview in '80, so I did not know Mr. Bianchi. However, my dad, Lt Col Bill Campbell  worked at MHS in the ROTC program until 1985. He shared many stories with me about Mr. Bianchi. He always spoke of him with fondness and respect. My condolences to the Bianchi family and loved ones.

To Uncle John, a man I have known for the past 22-years. In that time, he always focused on family and his friends, no matter what. In his time of need, he still taught everyone the utmost importance of family, being together, and the power of caring for each other. John Bianchi was a true dedicated man, never bitter. His blood was aged better than any red bottle of wine. I picture him today holding a glass of wine in one hand and an Avanti Cigar in the other. Always his smile and laughter, leaning back in his chair at gatherings, with meaningful in-depth conversations. The next family function I will have a toast to your new eternal life. Farewell my Friend in the Promised Land. You will truly be missed!! May you Rest in Peace.

To my cherished uncle John- I don't think I ever expressed to you just how much you meant to me. You taught me so many things about life, love, friendship, and of course good wine. The impact you made on my life will never be forgotten. You taught me the importance of family and just how important it is to keep tradition alive. You taught me to follow my dreams no matter how ridiculous you thought they were. You always believed in me. The short 24 years you were with me will always be near and dear to my heart. You taught me to be strong and tough even through the worst of times. I will forever cherish the vacation to Italy and most of all every Christmas Eve spent with you. Sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Bianchi.  He was the Principal at Jefferson Junior High when I first started teaching back in 1977. For two years he guided the teachers and staff and make a significant impact on me as a young teacher. Unfortunately the school was closed and many of the teachers went in different directions. He had great leadership and inspired those to always do their best. May God bless you and the family and know the positive impact Mr. Bianchi had on so many and myself.

John & I go way back to College Days.  When he came to North Ridgeville and worked at the High School, he decided to go into OWE/OWA classes for students who would work part time and go to school part time, so they would graduate.  He recommended me for the Health Teacher Position, since we were both Health & Physical Education majors in College.  I then moved on to the Elementary Schools as a Librarian (my other field) but never lost track of John & his many accomplishments.  We always got along & had many laughs together through the years.  He was a great guy & he will be missed.  There are very few educators/principals/etc. who could fill his shoes with compassion & discipline.  See you in Heaven (some day) for more good times.

Even though our paths went different directions from High School (JMHS), John remained a good & longtime friend. We may have shared a common enemy, but His Family request for contributions to St.Jude's Childrens Cancer Research is a fitting testimony to the Character of the man he was. One who, as many others have shared in their condolence messages, was always thinking outside the box. One who thought & cared about others.

Yesterday I said a final goodbye to my amazing brother, John. He was our family's patriarch and source of strength. John was an inspiration for many, including those he taught, coached and  managed-our world is a better place because of him.
John's interests were eclectic. He was an athlete, sportsman and pilot. John had friends from all walks of life and enjoyed fond moments with each. In recent years, his love of history brought him to Europe, traveling with family and friends. He loved sharing his interests with others, forever the teacher.
Our lives are forever changed because of him. There is solace in knowing that we were privileged to have him with us, albeit the time was too short.
My brother shall remain in my heart as I pass through life's journey. There is peace and comfort in knowing we will someday be sharing a glass of wine and laughs once again.

Friday afternoons at the restaurant won't be quite the same without you John, but we're all the better for having known you. Rest in peace and enjoy the reward you've surely earned for having touched so many lives as attested to by the entries in this guestbook. I was saddened to learn of Mr. Bianchi's passing. He was my teacher and varsity wrestling coach at NRHS (class of 1974). He was one of three men in my life that I respected and admired the most. He will be missed. My greatest sympathy to the family.

I had the opportunity to talk to John at our last JMH reunion and have run into him over the years, a few times on our plane trips to Florida from Cleveland.  We had a chance to reminisce our good times as classmates of JMH.  He set high standards for himself and instilled them to others throughout his life.  John was well respected and achieved much in his life and profession.  He will be remembered.

Dot and Family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of John.  St. Patrick's Day has never been the same since his stylish Black suit, tie and dyed black carnation was his attire.  He touched many lives, and took on challenges head on and did not waiver. I am sure he is smoking a good cigar, and saying we should stop with all these words. Our deepest sympathy to you all.  I was the treasurer when John was the superintendent at Avon and we had some wonderful years together.  Sorry that we lost touch after we both retired. We fondly remember being at your house for Christmas dinner events with the board and your children's weddings.  He was a good man who touched a lot of lives (including mine) and always treated everyone just like he wanted to be treated....tough sometimes, but always fair.  May he rest in eternal peace.

My heart was deeply saddened to hear of Mr. B's passing.  I am so sorry for your loss. I know it is huge~!!! He was a good and fair man.  My you find comfort and peace in knowing he is in the loving arms of our savior enjoying eternal life. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers as you travel the path of grief. I was blessed to have worked with him during his years with the Avon Local school system.

Mr. Bianchi was the type of person movies are made from. Just ten years my senior he was our cool, suave, dynamic wrestling coach at John Adams High. He came to a predominately Black school and taught us how to be winners, built character, instilled pride and showed us how to be men.  We won the citywide Senate wrestling championship in 1969.  Tom Jackson and I were undefeated as seniors.  I was a two time Kenston tournament champion.  Words cannot express the gratitude, admiration, love and respect I hold in my heart for this outstanding human being. May God's mercy be upon his family.

At Midview the class of 1986 we were honored to have had John as a principle for 6 years through middle and high school. The tough guy image that he portrayed was perfect for the kids that needed guidance but he was a loving father figure to all. I still talk about wonderful memories he created by being involved and how he helped the student council president have breaking and entering charges dropped. I was on the first wrestling team that John coached. John Adams was the door mat of the East Senate when John took over the program.  Within a few years he made the team a power house  winning multiple Senate team titles.
John was an outstanding coach and individual.    
He had the "Roar of a Lion and the Heart of a Lamb".  He was a mentor to me and others he coached.
He was a superb wrestling official.  His outstanding leadership skills lead him to the positions of assistant principal, principal and superintendent of schools.
After John retired he never talked about his accomplishments, he always talked about how much he enjoyed his family and their accomplishments.

My first administrator and one of the best.  As a rookie teacher at Midview Middle he gave me the support and respect needed to be a successful educator for the next 35 years.  His leadership was a positive force for many students, teachers, parents, and administrators

Had John as a teacher, assistant principal at NR.  Also a principal at Midview high school and a superintendent and friend in Avon with my kids in the schools. One the the best men I've ever known. He was tough but always fair with students and Always was looking out for the students best interest.
