Jeanine Louise Minek

JEANINE LOUISE MINEK, retired City of Fairview Park, OH Clerk of Council and Councilwoman, AGE 82, left this world surrounded by loving family on Friday August 25 at The Hospice of the Western Reserve in Westlake, OH.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Fairview Park Councilman William (Bill) Minek, son James Simpson (Karen), brothers Karl Bachert (Arlene and daughter Jeanine Louise Tenhover and family) and Richard Bachert (Sharon and children Kimberly Eiklid, Michael, Robert, and families), grandchildren Madeline, Connor, and Maire Simpson, niece MaryRuth Nicholson-Bonnel (Scott and son William), her extended Minek family, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren including Kristy Peck (Aaron and son Tyler), Patricia Svancara (Matthew and sons Matthew, Colin and family), Sue Walters (Jack and son Kyle and family), John (Deann and sons Christopher, Daniel, John, and families), William (Mary Ann and sons William, Joseph, and families), RuthAnn Valek (Mark and sons Matthew, Jeffery, and families), cousins including Marilyn McFarland and family, James and Robert Grace and family, numerous cherished friends, and her beloved City of Fairview Park.

Family and friends are invited to join in a celebration of her life on Sunday September 10, 2023, with visitation 3-5 PM followed by a memorial service and fellowship 5-6:30 PM.
