My dear childhood friend! You are so missed. To the Wallace family my condolences go out to you!

My dida! (Then she would call me her Lita- makes no sense but honestly that’s how we liked it lol) I’ll always remember how every time she burped, she’d say it was for me. Or the time we were up on New Year’s Eve together watching tv and she got real confused by something happening and said “what’s going on? What’s she saying? Smack em!!!” Once again, it made little sense to me but I laughed and laughed and she just made my life so much better. I’ll always think about when she called the restaurant eat n park “eat and fly” and I almost busted a gut laughing. Or how she’d always take me and my siblings to the candy store and would let us get $10 worth of whatever we wanted. Even when she had little money to spare, she’d get us gifts. Or make us cards, I loved her cards. Her stationary collection was impressive. She loved crafts, animals, the color magenta, and more. She was one of the first people I ever came out to. I love her very much and will cherish her memory forever in my heart. My dida.

Claud - She was my adopted aunt. Never a dull moment with her. As I write this memorial, there is a winter storm named Shirley on the Weather Channel. Coincidence? I think not! I take this as a sign that you made it and are with your mom (Shirley) now. Love and Miss you <3

Claudia, for me, this goes back to the Tony Orlando days. That is how we met, by writing letters to each other. I will always remember him calling you  in Atlantic City backstage. Rest in peace dear Claudia . Sending so much love and prayers.

Never thought I would see this memorial for my oldest, dearest friend, Claud.  We went back 42 years since she first invited me to visit Cleveland in early 1978.  She taught me about life, showed me things I never seen, did things I never did until then.  Very hard to have watched her decline in health over the past year, but now she is home with her parents, younger sister, a brother, sister in law, and step niece.  She will never be alone again and never be forgotten what she did for everyone she loved.  

I remember Claudia as being an exceptionally sweet and kind friend. I met her when I moved into Beachpark Tower, and she always made sure to include me in dinners and outings with a group of friends she had. We shared a love of dogs (her with Carly and me with my Sophie) and her door was always open if I wanted to visit and talk. I loved her smile and her laugh. The thing I remember most about her, though, is she never met a Hallmark movie she didn’t like! Rest easy dear friend. You are and always will be missed and remembered with love.
