William honorably served his country in three branches of the military; the Army, Air Force, and Marine Corp. He was a member of the Collinsville First Assembly of God, which is now Revive Church in Collinsville, Illinois. He was very active with the church, including; Trustee, Deacon, Sunday school teacher, choir member, and custodian. He worked as a Federal Police Captain, overseeing all the Federal buildings in Missouri and Iowa. He was a hardworking, family man; who will truly be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Addie, nee Howe, Mayberry, Sr.; and two sisters, Lorraine Gresham and Doris Simonsen.
Surviving are his loving wife of 70 years, Margie S. Mayberry, nee Wills, of Florissant, Missouri; His children, Jacqueline Fullington, of Chatham, Illinois, Sherry Thompson, of St. Louis, Missouri, Michael (Pattie) Mayberry, of Warrenton, Missouri, and Leisa (Rob) Montani, of St. Louis, Missouri; his grandchildren, Aaron (Melissa) Fullington, Jamie Turner, Justin (Kate) Campise, Melissa Campise, Kelly (Shawn) Patrick, Chris (Brent) Werner, Adam Perkins, and Andrea (Jeremiah) Williamson; great grandchildren, Makayla, Kaitlyn, Morgan, Risa, Braeden, Lexi,Rebekah, and Sophia; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
Funeral: Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 31, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastor Greg Perkins officiating. Interment will be held privately in Moro Cemetery in Moro, Illinois.
