Violet Marie Crowl Conner

Violet M. Conner, nee Crowl, 93, of Belleville, Ill., born October 10, 1921, in Belleville, Ill., died Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Four Fountains Nursing Home, Belleville, Ill.Violet was a member at Westview Baptist Church, Fairview Heights, Ill. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, and most of all taking care of her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin J. Conner; her parents, Arthur L. and Ruth, nee Voss, Crowl; and two brothers, Marvin Crowl, and Harry Crowl.

Surviving are her son, Roger (Lee Ann) Conner of Collinsville, Ill.; three daughters, Sandra (Hector) Gonzales of Belleville, Ill., Linda (Douglas) Cheek of Salem Ark., and Suzanne Conner of Denver Colo.; a brother, Arthur J. Crowl, 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives.
