Vinetta Sue Marshbank

Vinetta “Vinnie” Sue Marshbank, 54, of O’Fallon, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021. She was born on May 15, 1967 in Rushville, IN. Vinnie married Shawn Marshbank on May 29, 1993 in the Church of Christ, O’Fallon, IL. She was the past Honored Queen Bethel #92 in Rushville, IN. Vinnie received her master’s degree in counseling and had a passion for taking care of and counseling others. She enjoyed working for the Children’s Home and Aid Society in East St. Louis. She was a former member and choir singer at Faith Family Christian Church and a current member of Life Community Church in Columbia, IL. Vinnie was loved by all and will be truly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Shawn Marshbank; daughter, Micaela Marshbank; granddaughter, Emma Marshbank; sister, Marylenea (Rick) Kemp-McQueen. She is predeceased by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N. Illinois St., Fairview Heights, IL 62208. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Private family interment. Memorial contributions can be made to the National MS Society, Gateway Area Chapter.
