Sandra Dee Peters

Sandra worked with her husband, Pete, who owned, Peters Vending and Distributing Co. for many years. She retired from Home Pharmacy and then worked part-time at Famous Barr/Macys until 2013. She was Past President and life member of the Jaycee-ettes. She was Past President and life member of the St. Elizabeth’s Hospital Auxiliary and recipient of the Leadership Award and served with the Illinois Hospital Association. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter #53. She enjoyed bingo, tennis and was an avid bowler. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Pete” Peters, Jr., whom she married August 29, 1957; and her parents, Wilbert and Gertrude, nee Becherer, Walter.

Surviving are her children, Pamela (Bill) Rappolee, of Lebanon, Illinois and Robert Peters, of New Douglas, Illinois; her three grandsons, Tate Peters and Zachary Peters, both of St. Clair, Missouri, and Garrett Rappolee, of Lebanon, Illinois; and many other relatives and friends.
