Paul Overton Wood

Paul was a jack of all trades who loved to work and help others. He helped build the Highway 270 bridge. He was a retired pipefitter and teacher for apprentices for Local 653 in Centralia, Illinois. Paul was very active in Ainad Shriners, The KVS Club in Keyesport, Illinois and the Mulberry Grove Masonic Lodge #809. He was a loving husband to Geneve for 50 years and a devoted father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Overton and Cynthia Orel, nee Baldwin, Wood.

Surviving is his loving wife, Geneve, nee Hankins, Wood; three daughters, Patti Diane Johnson, Rita (Rich) Ahrendt and Sandra (Jerry) Keel; two grandchildren, Joseph Paul Steward and Cassandra Keel; and one great-grandson, Ethan Steward.
