Mr. Kish worked the last 14 years, at the St. Louis Community Release Center as a licensed social worker/ probation parole officer and mental health liaison. He graduated from O’Fallon Township High School, where his track accomplishments, still remain. He ran cross country in high school, and was awarded a scholarship to Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He graduated from SIUE with a bachelor’s degree in social work. Through his work and inspiration, he strived for equal treatment of mental health clients. He was an advocate for those within the correctional system and helping their placement into the community. He was an exceptional social worker and a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and friend; who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby, nee Frawley, Kish; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Arty E. and Wilma Phelps.
Surviving to cherish his memory, are his loving wife of 24 years, Lou Ann, nee Phelps, Kish; his twin daughters, Holly and Heather Kish; his father, Paul E. (Elizabeth) Kish, Sr.; a brother, Randy Kish; a sister, Sandy (Dave) Sterling; his In-Laws, Drew (Sandy) Phelps, Arty (Margie) Phelps, and Steven (Brenda) Phelps; his dear nieces, Mindy Coffee, Tara Cremeens; many nephews, cousins, and friends; and his loving dog, Cocoa.

Funeral: Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
