

Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Harrison Lumber Company in 1990 and was a member of Teamster’s Local 682. He was a member of Highland Southern Baptist Church and used his musical talent for the Lord, singing in solo performances, quartets, and choirs. He enjoyed gardening and carpentry, building many of his own homes and tending to the landscapes. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather; who will truly be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry H. and Myrtle C., nee Tims, Crocker; his brother, Maurice Crocker; and two sisters, Rosalie Hayden and Janet Stout.
Surviving are his loving wife of 61 years, Doris J. Crocker, nee Chapman, of Highland, Ill.; his children, Kathleen (Terry) Thompson, of Olive Branch, Miss., Mary Jane Crocker, of Weatherford, Texas, Allan (Mary) Crocker, of Plano, Texas, and Brian (Diane) Crocker, of Greenwood Springs, Miss.; his grandchildren, Lori Parker, Lucas (Kristin) Parker, Valerie (Benjamin) Leonard, Ethan (Hannah) Parker, Trace Johnson, Mary Crocker, Beverly Crocker, Ashley (Christian) Castelli, and Jonathan Crocker; great grandchildren, Ryan, Brady, Abraham, Jeremiah, Josiah, Samuel, Leo, and Evan; and many nieces, nephews, church family, and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 2015, at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois, and from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, March 16, at Highland Southern Baptist Church, in Highland, Illinois.
Funeral: Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, March 16, 2015, at Highland Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Billy Blackmon officiating. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
